Drosera spatulata is a great sundew species for beginners. They work well in controlling fungus gnats and other small flying pests around your grow room or inside your vivarium. Just like all carnivorous plants they need nutrient free soil and water. Reverse osmosis, distilled or rain water is your best options. Do not use spring water. Tap water needs to be under 50ppm for it to be a viable option for watering. They prefer bright indirect light and need to be in standing water. These are potted in dixie cups.
